From Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, Speed Racer is available on 4K UHD. The 2008 classic is a film in which Lana and Lily Wachowski instilled maximum effort into the visual presentations of this project. Despite a middling initial box office return,  Speed Racer has found a passionate fanbase. With re-releases in IMAX formats and other movie events throughout the years and around the world, Speed Racer lives to keep growing its nostalgic fanbase through its dazzling racing moments in 4K.  In this rich visual format, the races feel more action-packed and spectacular, at times it  will even feel like the cars are flying out of their screen. That is because the 4K edition is visually like an endless rainbow track. The film’s main character Speed is played by Emile Hirsch (The Girl Next Door, Into the Wild). Once Speed enters his car the experience is endless.

What is included are special features and interviews with the Wachowskis. A lot of which are looped into the themes of the film itself. For those who love this franchise from the cartoon days or the Wachowskis, this is a purchase that is worth the money. The price lists $24.99 at most major retailers.  The chance to feel the speed on 4K will feel like a treasure to many consumers. Lots of racing and bonus features create a world of Wachowski magic and Speed Racer entertainment. Definitely an item that is worth the purchase. Get a copy and go fast.
